A supplier profile has one job: make it easy for a buyer to agree to a first meeting. Length matters less than clarity. Here are the sections that do the work.
- What you supply. Products and services in plain language, grouped the way buyers search for them.
- Who you serve. Sectors and, with permission, named customers.
- Where you operate. Towns, mine sites and provinces you can service, plus response times.
- Proof. Three recent projects with scope, timeline and outcome, and real photographs.
- Compliance. Registrations, certifications and safety records, with dates.
- People and capacity. Key staff, equipment and workforce size.
- Contact. One named person, one phone number, one email.
Format
Keep it to a PDF of eight pages or fewer that opens well on a phone, plus a printed version for meetings. Update it every six months. A profile dated two years ago tells a buyer the business may have changed since.
Junza builds supplier profiles and capability statements as part of Business Ready. If you are unsure where your current profile stands, start with the audit.
